Food For Friends is a community service program run by the PTO.  This program supplies our own FHE families, and our sponsored CCSD elementary school, with balanced meals for the weekend (whom may not otherwise have access). The PTO arranges for FHE students to complete bimonthly fulfillments. They pack grocery bags with a variety of food items that get sent home to families in need. This helps our students gain awareness of food insecurities, allows them to engage in community service projects, and leaves them feeling good about the difference they've made in their community

If you are looking for a service project for your Boy Scout or Girl Scout Troop, email FoxHollowCommunityVP@gmail.com for details.

If you feel your family could benefit from this program, please us the QR code to fill out the survey. A bag is discretely placed in your child's backpack on Fridays (or the last school day of the week) for them to take home.

In December 2022, our neighboring elementary school, Rolling Hills, held a food drive to help restock the FHE food pantry. Rolling Hills Elementary PTCO dropped off over 1,000 nonperishable goods.

We     Our School Community

Food For Friends could not exist without the support of our community. We hold Fall and Spring food drives to help keep the pantry stocked, but we also get extra help to make our bag drops extra special.

Fox Hollow's 5th Grade Girl Scout Troop donated 30 boxes as part of the "Home Town Heroes" campaign after they decided that this would be a fun treat for families who might not otherwise get to participate in GS cookie season. (2022/2023 SY)

Fox Hollow's Girl Scout Kindergarten Troop 4156 (2022/23 SY) collected 40 pairs of gloves to wrap and add to Food for Friends bags. They did this to earn their caring and considerate pedal badge. This was a part of learning about being caring for our community.

During the 2021/2022 school year, one of our grandparents MADE over 100 masks to include in the Food For Friends bags.

Fox Hollow's 2nd grade Troop 7235, (2021/22 SY) went Christmas Caroling and collected cans to donate to Food For Friends. They delivered the cans and helped pack the bags.

In December 2021, Mrs. Dillon’s 4th grade class worked to fill 40 bags for Village East and the Food for Friends Program.  In addition to the bags, Mrs. Dillon personally donated 55 wrapped children’s books.  We saved some for our FHE kiddos and gave the rest to Village East to give out during the holidays. Thank you,

Mrs. Dillion, for your generosity!

Thank you, to McDonald's Franchise owners, Johnson Entities (store owner at Parker/Arapahoe in Arapahoe Crossings) donated 300+ packages that included a coloring book, crayons, a gift card for a happy meal, another gift card for a combo meal!! We were able to include these amazing donations in the bags that were delivered right before Thanksgiving (and many more bags after this)!!
